Four Ways we have Structured Client Engagements |
| |
|
- Two to eight week defined project - Consulting efforts are applied to a specific area such as process improvement, facility layout, Lean Manufacturing, inventory management, labor efficiency, material flow and handling, space utilization, equipment capacity, etc., to develop recommendations for cost saving improvements.
- Two to six month retainer - A Business Engineering consultant spends a specified amount of time for a fixed fee each month. The objective is to identify, test, install and measure changes in manufacturing and/or distribution operations to yield tangible cost savings. Targets for cost reduction are set and reviewed each month.
- Three to five day LEAN event - Training in use of LEAN tools and techniques such as a KAIZEN event. An internal team is led by a Business Engineering facilitator to improve a specified process or operation by focusing on making changes and measuring results over a short time period.
- One to four week Readiness RoadmapSM assessment - Manufacturing and/or distribution expenses are reviewed for cash flow improvement opportunities. The resulting report (Roadmap) quantifies and prioritizes areas of savings, specifies action to be taken and identifies resources that need to be applied.
